Watercolour
After many years of dabbling with watercolour painting only to bin them as rubbish, in February 2019, my wife Jeannie enrolled me in a beginners art class for 10 weeks. After learning a few techniques, I found that I had a real talent for painting with watercolour paints. Though naive, I still class myself as a learner, but now I have the confidence to produce a reasonable picture.
I have found that painting exercises my brain-hand coordination, as I sometimes struggle with handwriting when my hand won’t do what my brain tells it to.
Whenever you see a fisherman in my paintings, it's me.
